The Torchinsky Orchestral Excerps are a series of books of excerpts sorted by composer. Mr. Torchinsky was the legendary Tuba guru at U. of Michigan, and ranks up ther with Mr. Jacobs. Some of the books are available from Encore Music in Troy, Michigan. Here is a link:
