I have posted on here that I think carrying a tuba around in a cloth bag is a mistake. Nevertheless, I offer them for sale. I think ProTec is clearly made better than "Tux" (I sell 'em both) and good enough to eliminate R.B. (sell that one too) from the competition due to its high price (too close to the price of a hard case with wheels).

I might be wrong, but it seems to me that you need to be pretty tall if you use the ProTec backback straps, otherwise, the tuba bell rim bops you in the back of the head. I AM tall, and it is fine. One the plus side, this reduces the risk of whacking the bell rim on hydraulic door closing devices and the like. Click me if you want a price, and tell me what city I would be shipping to. I find ProTec zippers, material, sewing, design, etc. to be fine, except for the FACT that you will surely eventually have a regretable accident with ANY bag, because it is a BAG.
