I went to my first lesson with Fritz Kaenzig with a list of my development
needs. One of those needs was a better low register. He said "how often do
you practice your low register" and I gave that "Duh-hee" look that one
gives when he is caught. Fritz said "enough said, what else do you need
to work on". He then went on to guide me to some good low register books.
CHeck out the "Low Register Etudes, book I" by Wes Jacobs (Encore Music) and
his "Low Register Studies/Exercises". Be patient and like Tim Cary mentioned, it will come.
