Schmidt is a brand of instruments that Brook Mays carries, not Charlie. The Schmidt horns are actually made in Germany by the same guys that do VMI and B&S stuff..it's basically just not near as good of quality. Their Saxophones are crap. Schmidt actually makes all kinds of instruments if you peruse the Brook Mays site, you'll see Schmidt woodwinds, brass, and even guitars.
