The subject just came up on TubaEuph, and a fellow posted the link below. I think it presents a good discussion of the subject, and describes a good way to deal with it. The savvy reader will devise schemes to achieve the same effect without using their proprietary and expensive materials, though, of course, it may not work quite as well.
Even with their prices, however, this stuff would present a much cheaper alternative to a prefabricated practice room, and would fit into the plan of a house more easily.
