ANYways, this York is prolly c.1910 to 1915, it has that piggy loop
you mentioned. For me, and to mine own limited extent of prowess,
the horn plays in tune without the loop! So much for high-pitch/low-pitch!

20" bell, no holes, cracks, patches, or thinned-out spots.
Slides all work fine, valves smooth, this is NOT a small
Eefer. The link below shows it next to my PT4P for size comparisons.

Seriously I'd thought of converting this horn with a modern valveset,
that isn't likely to happen, but I'll put it in the attic
before I give it to some smart-aleck putz for 100 clams.
