Ein Heldenleben is a relatively high tenor tuba--euphonium part. It is printed in Bb bass clef. Best to get a copy of Torchinsky's excerpt book which has it written out in sounding pitch bass clef and use this in the orchestra. Traditionally this is a famous and tough euphonium part not F tuba for sure.
