I will second that Mike. I absolutely love my 45SLP. Like you say the low end is "rock solid". I also have here at home my orchestras B&s and there is just no comparison.
All of you guys who are looking for a great F and for a price you just can not beat look no further. At $5000 you just can not find a better horn(no i do not work for brasswind).
