Sorry, I got lost in those nots. Do you mean that it is clearly the York? Yes, I agree. The perspective of this photo is quick different from other photos of the Chicago York in Song and Wind, and that three a few people off. That, and the finish.
Stauffer's book has several pictures of 30's-vintage 6/4 CC Conns, and they are arranged quite differently than this York.
I think this was everyone's conclusion the last time it came up. I had already seen the discussion by the time I got my copy of the book, so I don't know how obvious it would have been had I looked at it without preconceptions.
