There is no difference in the dimensions between the Mount Vernon mouthpieces and the modern Bach mouthpieces of the same model. I have a Bach 18 that I bought while at Interlochen in 1964, with the Mount Vernon stamp. The only difference is that the Mt. Vernon lot is no longer made and the only value is in the fact that they are becoming harder to find as the years pass. If you like the Bach 7, buy a new one and put your Mt. Vernon away as it will become rarer as time passes. The only possible difference I've noted is a slight deviation in the shank taper, but it is not significant.
