Sorry Charlie (bet you've never heard that before haha), but since it has top valves all of the tubes immediately bend down 90 degrees. If I understand correctly, I'd need to be able to sight the valve ports through the valve tubing, and there's no way for me to do that. Thanks though.

I feel the price of a valve alignment draining from my tuba slush fund as we speak. I see prices for 'new corks and felts', but this horn HAS new corks and felts. I just suspect they are the wrong thicknesses. How can I know that the repair person does this job properly? Or should I just get a bunch of cork and felt and experiment until I get the results I want? Naturally, I'd save all the existing stuff so I can go back if I don't get what I'm after.
