Cool -- that would be the way to go. The quintet I was in had relatively inexperienced high brass that didn't feel confident enough (or motivated enough!) to try reading new parts even if I could get a hold of all 5 parts. One bonus of the 5 part version is that the lead responsibilities are divided between the two trumpets, rather than having one trumpet playing the lead part all the time as in the RK version.

Given all of that, I'm still curious to hear what the RK version sounds like with the recommended large number of brass players, although it might sound relatively dry without percussion of some sort.
