Hi Chris ! , Take small piece, of wooden dowel and a small hammer ,and VERY VERY litely, tap all around on the face of the cap,then and only if you have to get some thin rubber sheet , a small piece wrap it over the cap to protect the edges, and use extened jaw plyers , like the channel lock type or what is know as water pump plyers , be very careful not to chaffe the edges, of the cap, and easily work it . it may take alot of time , so dont be in a hurry repeat this as much as you need, its worked for me without any damage to my horns at all, ive been doing it for years . p.s. this should bring down the house in here from and the know it all`s !!!
