I have a relatively new Kalison CC and the manufacturing is definetly a step up from the older ones. Some of my school's Kalison's are old and in pretty bad shape. I don't know anything about the BBb model but the CC's can be different with each instrument in regards to intonation. Where do you live? Kalison's website (www.Kalison.com) has a list of retailers. Maybe you can call the one nearest you and work out a deal where they could send you some to play test. If its not too far you could even travel there. I'm sure the store would like that better than sending you a bunch of tubas! Good luck!
