The other posts seem to have covered the major bases. I've not played on one to offer personal experience but you might also take a look at the Dillon Sheridan line of mouthpieces. Many people like the bass tuba mp. It is supposedly very similar to the PT-65. I've not tried one on my F but it occurs to me that a Shilke 66 might also work well.
