You should be able to find a number of good new horns in your price range and as the others have mentioned, there are some listers who currently have horns which would fit the bill for sale. If you check with Dillons, Dave Fedderly (Baltimore Brass), Woodwind & Brasswind, and Brooks Mays, all should have new or used horns which would work for you, and they should be able to arrange financing if necessary. Among new horns in your price range you could check the Miraphone 186, MW 2145, or the Conn 52/56J. Ideally you should go somewhere where you can play the specific horn that you plan to buy, because every horn plays differently for each person. Knowing that realistically you can't always do this, the dealers above can play test a horn before sending it to you and let you know their impression. I know that Matt at Dillon's will do this and let you know his impression of the specific characteristics.

Good Luck
