I heard a great klezmer band out of Boston today named "Naftule's Dream"(named after the great klezmer clarinetist, Naftule Brandweis). The tuba player was extraordinary. I think it may have been Jim Gray. I have a cd of "Purim", a really "new school" klezmer band with Jim playing. It sounds like him on "Naftule's Dream". If any one can help me with the identity of the tuba player on Naftule's Dream, give me a holler. The whole band is stupendous, particulary the tuba player. I wanna buy this guy a beer.
