Yes, after reading the posts, I'm not sure if everyone else is talking about the same thing. I first ran into these notes on accident, it seemed by fracking a low F (for me on a BBb, 1 and 3, or 4). The note that came out was a muffled low G. A couple days ago, I reencountered these notes, and I found that after getting the hang of it, I could lip slur between low F and low G using either 1 and 3, or 4. The most important thing to consider is that it doesn't exist as an open note, only when there are at least 2 valves down. Any new perspectives now?
