Could Meinl-Weston send the 4 valve unit to you and then upon your inspection, then send the fifth valve if you needed it? If I remember correctly, isn't that how the fifth valve on your Cerveny came to be (or was it Cerveny didn't make a 5 valve ACB-601)? I know this sounds risky, but it seems like the best comprimise. You are however "in a pickle" for that horn. Maybe they could make slide extensions for the F cimbasso liek the do for the CC's to drop it a step and all of the slides.
