Staying on topic in so far as Carl have made his personal lack of honesty a main issue by calling me the source of entering the French C tuba in the SF-instrumentation discussion.

That source was Steve Dedman

who with a display of admirable personal integrity proves me right in

Seconded by Rick Denney, who in the outmostly polite terms gives Carl some advise in the direction of faithful source-reading. Please read RD in

Anyone might more or less rightfully call my prose style convoluted, Englishmolesting as it definitely is. The general feedback, public and private however tells, that my opinions and outings have a tendency to make themselves understood. Wild and dislikeable as they often might be.

I am a rougher-and-tougher myself finding odd routes to make my points. But it hardly will be provable, that I should have used outright lying as a tool of debating. Carl is the one, who introduces such a tool on this board. Vehemently repeating his lie.

Carl might, even through his apparently badly distorted reading apparatus, have noticed, that I have quite faithfully followed a personal policy of not replying to his posts on this board. Because his questionable attitude towards me should not be an on-board issue.

But I will not tolerate unfounded attacks on my musicological integrity, when it is that approach I have chosen in a debate. If I play the devil’s advocate in a clowny or grumpy disguise, please shoot along. One of my curses might be, that I by a national heritage, augmented by a very diverse path of education (not including any brasses below the single valve bass bone), have a tendency to operate on several linguistic levels. Sometimes simultaneously.

I will stay away of applying the proper terms on your person, Carl. But only very short, and only in the respect of this board.

To the board: A profound apology for a lengthy process of pulling a weed by its root.

Klaus
