I saw Bobo perform on the Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was still hosting it. This was a long, long time ago. Bobo played a solo with piano accom. I remember Doc sitting by Johnny saying he was amazed at what he could do on the tuba. I would have given anything to record that back then but VCR's didn't even exist, or at least we did not have one. Does anyone else remember that?
