Boy, I sure do wish I could try a Thein cimbasso. But to be completely honest, I'm a little afraid to. I know they are prohibitively expensive and if I tried one and liked it, I might end up single again! ;-)
Seriously, I have spoken to a couple other players who have tried out the Theins and say they make an excellent cimbasso. This was a very long time ago so I don't have any recent experiences like you do. If I get a chance, I'll certainly look one over.
My opinion for what it's worth...
