Sean,

My smaller CC is a MW 32 (same as the 30 with 5 valves). I like the sound, it is rather dark with good projection. I use mine in smaller groups or when I want a lighter sound than my Alexander 163. I have also played my MW32 in large ensembles with good results. I feel that the MW 32/30 is a reliable and instrument that is very predictable. I like the response in all ranges. I also like the sturdy manner that these tubas are built. In my opinon, the MW32/30 is a good 4/4 all around tuba, I like mine very much.

please e-mail me if you would like to talk about the MW32/30 more.
