I play on a Brian Bowman 1 and I would NOT recommend it to anyone trying to play their euphonium as a tenor tuba. The sound I get with that mouthpiece is nice and dark, but very small.
I've never heard of replacing the leadpipe of the 321 for a larger sound, but I do know from personal experience that the 321 with a larger leadpipe plays wonderfully in tune. I have no idea what it would cost to change, though.
