I was trying to imply that if someone all the technique in the world, the best sound in the world, and something to say,musically, that their chances of winning a job are very very good. Now ask yourself to count how many people in the world possess all three of these qualities? You probably wont run out of fingers. If someone would just worry about this (i.e. practice 6-8 hours a day etc, etc) and not worry so much about supposively fixed auditions, they'll probably start to see some results. EXCUSES DONT WIN AUDITIONS!
I'm also a little bit confused as to why you seem so sure about all this, yet you refuse to cite specific examples.
