Actually the SSO is in a union--the Intenational Guild of Symphony, Opera, and Ballet orchestra Musicians (IGSOBM). The SSO and many of Seattle's other groups have CBAs and audition protocols just like the rest of the orchestras. Just because we have a different union doesn't mean we don't have a union, CBA, etc.
