I promised you guys that I would special order a Marcinkiewicz H1 "Concert Hall" (thigh crusher model) mouthpiece.
Today, I actually remembered to do it and followed through.
As some know, I'm a "heavy"-anything skeptic, and since I AM a skeptic I have ordered the "heavy" version of the mouthpiece that I personally use to play large tubas, so that I will tend to like it - in spite of my own skepticism. The mouthpiece probably won't be fab-ed up and shipped for several weeks, but I promise to report whether a sense anything different about it compared to a standard H1 - again, other than in my thighs getting skwished and going to sleep.
If I am not impressed with it, I'll offer it for sale - first come, first served - at dealer cost. There are probably enough "believers" out there that it should sell quickly, if indeed I decide to offer it for sale. I'll keep you posted.
