Having done both families, rotor and piston, in all combinations, it is slightly easier if you stay in one family. try the piston CC. If you are still on a 19" bell EEb B&H you are duplicating two tubas with similar sizes of sound with the Hirsbrunner 4/4 . I would try the B&S PT6 in either valve type. Andy Duncan used a PT6 with rotors along side his EEb with great success as you know.
