No, you are selfish. Donate it to my foundation which I have set up for needy children who cannot afford band instruments for school (poor little buggers!). When the foundation receives instruments that we deem inappropriate for school-aged children, the foundation offers them for sale at auction, and then puts theis revenue in a fund to purchase more appropriate "novice"-grade instruments for the youngsters. The auctions never seem to be well-attended, so out of the goodness of my own heart, I'll usually bid $1 just to make sure the items are sold. Of course, the bid/donations are tax-deductable if I bid over the appraised value, and fortunately the foundation has an appraiser (me) on staff.
