Amen. By the time they are in college, they have to take responsibility for their actions. If they don't want to learn, I see no obligation on the part of their professors to try to ram it down their throats. Joe's stories would be heart-breaking with middle-school kids, but seeing such behavior from adults is more annoying than anything else.
