I've heard nothing. I'm not in the loop to hear anything. I have no information about Mr. Warren Deck. My comment is not about Mr. Deck, but about Bell's Palsy.
I've known a very fine saxophonist and a major symphony orchestra trumpeter who were both stricken with this and both eventually recovered. It was a struggle for both of them to rebuild, but both did manage to do so.
