I have my students use some type of pillow, towel, piece of padding... whatever. The ultimate goal is to feel as comfortable as possible while still maintaining correct posture. If the stewart stand does this for you, then go for it! If not, be creative. I have seen rolled up towels held together with tape, pieces of foam padding, pillows, wood blocks with towels wrapped around them... all kinds of things. Look around your house to find something useful. Good luck!
