There is also one more aspect that needs to be mentioned in addition to the moral problems with speading rumors and invading someone's privacy. And this particularly applies to people like Andy, who I assume intends to be a professional tubist.
If I were Mr. Deck or one of his many friends. I would not be very happy about this discussion. I would also remember those who participated in it. Professionally, these are not people I would want to dislike me. If I were an aspiring professional tubist, I would always be asking myself "Is what I'm about to say going to hurt my career or help it?".
