I love these horns. They are my favorite F tuba, but I have to qualify that by saying I love rotary valve tubas. These horns have the best low C of any tuba I have ever played, and a great sound. A few tuning quirk around the top of the staff, but I would say they are better than most f tubas. If you want a great sounding F with Rotary valves, it's a great choice. For piston Valves, the Meinl 45slp is a great tuba too.
I know Tubastore has a few of the 181's in stock, I've played them all and haven't found a bad one yet.
