You know, if you think I'm a kook, I guess I would fit right in with the politicians here in Memphis. In the city/county/state government, we have:
- a shoplifter (while in office)
- one who LITERALLY took $1000 under the table in a restaurant (convicted, served, re-elected)
- one who whacked some woman in his driveway. The cops found a bunch of cocaine in his house and didn't arrest him. (while in office)
- one arrested for D.W.I. (while in office)
- one who has shot a pistol at 18-wheelers while on I-40 from Memphis to Nashville, has impregnated several women, and who has had various other serious altercations. (while in office - repeatedly re-elected, never arrested)
