I was going to let this go, but naah. First, I never said that public schools should try to use religion to explain evolution. I was saying that if you want to explain to your children how the two theories are not inconsistent, there is a way to do so. The meaning of 6 days in the Hebrew is not as unambiguous as you claim. By the way, I speak and read Hebrew, do you? Much of the study of the Bible, at least in my religion, deals with interpreting the possible meanings of various passages, down to why certain words were used, and this becomes questionable when dealing with a translation.

The texts I have seen mention evolution as a theory, and then merely say that there are other possible explanations, but don't elaborate. As I said, it is such a minor part of the curriculum that it really doesn't matter. (I have lived in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Florida)

In the 19th century Wieprect created the tuba, and he saw that it was good.
