It mainly depends on your level of experience. How long have you been playing? What are your capabilities? I did a standard piece for euphonium, even though it's a trombone solo, my sophomore year of high school. It's Morceau Symphonique by Alexandre Guilmant. I really don't like that solo much anymore (it gets played too much), but it's a good place to start. It just depends on what you're capable of playing.
