Chris Johnson, 10th grade kid lives in mid michigan he is my heart and soul. He started playing in 5th grade and I have had the privilege of helping him learn to play the tuba. This summer I got to see him play with the Battle Creek Brass Band. Chris got to study under Marty Erickson, Sam pilafian, Steven Mead, at Camp Avalon for a week. I could not hold back the tears during the concert. I was so proud of Chris, he was playing with one of the best bands in the world. Oh ya he is playing on his new 191 Miriphone. I hope some day you all will get to meet this young man he is a true gentleman that loves to play his tuba!!! Keep up the practice and the love of tuba music. Chris one day your music goals will come true if you are true to the art. MR. BASS
