I had my CC converted from the old style to al five valves rotating with the airflow. It may be just me but I felt an immediate improvement esp. in the low range when slurring and even lightly tongued passages. The air moved more freely and the bump I used to experience when slurring using valves three and four is eliminated. I've had several players coment on the improved quality of the sound in that range, specificaly the seamless sound when moving between notes. I think it helps a great deal, in my humble opinion.
