Remember that the syllable "TOO" is your friend for proper blowing and articulation. Put a hand on your belly: whisper, or blow the word "TOO" through embouchure. Nothing unnatural, just take your relaxed breath and blow. Blow as though you are trying to extinguish a candle 4 feet away. Feel the movement? Now do 4 rapid ones, the air stopping between each. Feel that? In it's simplest terms, that is the marcato articulation. Being outdoors requires such, maybe even more exaggerated. Now do four with the syllable "DOO" and do NOT stop the airflow. Just blow the tongue out of the way. Legato!!! It is really hard to describe on the web. Email for more ideas!!
