yea, that's what I'm thinking. . . a real true and deep bass. Like a full size bass viol instead of the 3/4. This York 6/4 really can whisper too. I have a big Conn fiberglass sousa that works well, but this 6/4 played soft should be the ultimate. My strolling horn in New Orleans was the CC Y621. Wonderful with a strap but not really a deep bass sound. I think most guys that double on upright would understand this concept.
