Being from Italy, I'm not so good in English language.
Anyway, I know latin language a bit better.
Since "spargens" is "scattering",
I think the correct literal translation would be:
"The trumpet, scattering its wondrous sound throughout the tombs of the lands, gathers all in front of the throne"
