Hello,
I have a Miraphone with a vented 1st and 4th valve. The vent on the first valve is clogged (the small pin hole) and I don't have any access to getting a quick acid bath. Does anyone have any suggestions on cleaning out this vent hole so I can easily slide my first valve slide without getting that burst of air or back-pressure? I have never taken my rotary valves out, so I don't intend to right now, or at least until I have a professional show me. Basically...Is there a way to clean out my valve without having to do anything drastic? Any suggestions will be helpful.
