Hello. I wish to buy a new mouthpiece for my tuba. I have a 50 year old, 3 valve, boosey & and Hawkes Imperial Bbflat tuba. Sadly, I have no idea what i should be looking for in a mouthpiece at all.
Your help in me selecting one would be greatly appreiciated. Now......I'm looking for a mouthpiece with clean, strong low range, with very good mids and fairly nice in the top end as well. Perhaps one with a very small taper in the throat. Does anyone know of any mouthpiece in the 300-400 dollar (canadian) range?
If you can understand my rambling and attempt to come up with any suggestions, I would be very grateful.
