Did you get the rotor or the piston model? My understanding is they are pretty different tubas.
I have the 45slp and I love it. I was using the Bobo solo mouthpiece but found some intonation inconsistencies and have switched to the PT65 (I had been using a 64 but I wanted a little deeper cup). I also found that the Bobo had such a flat rim that it was uncomfortable to play on for extended periods of time.
I really liked the sound with the Bobo but having a c in the staff about 20cent sharp was too much for me. The 65 corrected the problem. I wish that it had the same response and sound as the Bobo!
