My orchestra owns such a STINKO arrangement of the "Armed Forces Medley" that I am going to attempt to get permission to use the DOD version (or each branch's individual official version) as the basis of a new arrangement for orchestra. I like patriotic music, though I do get tired of it once in a while. Having really bad arrangements just makes things even worse.
