I got my first look at the new Reunion Blues bags coming out of China just this past week when one of my students walked into his lesson with one. I thought I'd share my observations here if anyone is at all interested.
At first, I had NO idea what company had made the bag, but upon closer inspection I was surprised to see the Reunion Blues logo...it really didn't look recognizable. Basically, I was very unimpressed. The handles were flimsy and made of plastic. The thickness of the padding all around was cut in half. The entire durability and protection issue seems very much in question.
Its a shame to see what was once such a high-quality accessory go by the wayside via cheaper production costs.
As we all know, you get what you pay for. This bag was in the $200 range and was purchased through a local dealer that is notorious for markups.
Final analysis? Two thumbs down. Get a Dolly Bag or a bag made by another reputable company.
