How was your low range on the Euphonium? This may seem like a really weird concept, so just bear with me. If you had a good low range on the Euphonium, it would make sense, at least to me, that your low range would be better on the Besson because the Besson is probably closer to the bore size of your Euphonium, ergo, the change to your air and chops isn't as drastic as that of the Czerveny. Sounds strange, but in theory it works. Please remember, don't go gonzo and get a big ol' paperweight tuba MP, start smallish(24AW) and move up as you build strength. Good Luck.
