There are a lot of alto sax solos written for church music.
All you have to do is change from treble to bass, read the music where it is or an octave lower and add three flats.
one of my favorites is the The Lord's Prayer,,, very strong and very nice and everyone sings with you. I have used it especially right before communion or the Lord's Supper.
Simple and it works. You have to get use to accidentals but it isn't that hard.
