If you are looking to not spend a bunch of dough on a horn, and have decided you like the size, shape, and playing of the YCB-621, I'd suggest that you check out a Weril 681. You can get one of those for right at 2k (or less if you get a demo/used horn like I did, and don't mind a few minor finish blemishes that don't affect playing). I've played both horns, and for my money I couldn't tell the difference between the two. Except for the fact that I didn't have to mess with the tuning slides much at ALL while playing.
